New Moon – May 4, 2019

This Saturday is the New Moon. This is the time of the month lunar where Astrologers look for the new beginnings. Here are Quadrivium Astrology I plan to do a monthly (by lunar month) series on the New Moon. I will look at from the mundane perspective. Because of that most New Moon charts will have to location set to Washington D.C.

Below is the New Moon on May 4, 2019, 6:46:12 PM. The New Moon lands at 14 degrees Taurus in the 7th House. This indicates that the United States government will have a good month with relationships between itself and other countries, governments, corporation, or people it conducts business with.

The tightest aspect is a quincrux to Ceres in the 2nd house in Sagittarius. This would indicate that while agreements may be reach with foreign partner, the parts about food production, agriculture and the finances of those sectors may not have best month.

The New Moon is also making a sextile to Neptune in the 5th house in Pisces. This indicts that any potential agreements make be more show than substantial. We may see them through rose color glasses and it may not be the best agreement.

Other than the New Moon, both Uranus and Mercury are on the descendant. This would indicate that any agreements and news about them may come suddenly and unexpectedly.

Out of any possible event I can think of, this chart may be about the new Chinese trade deal President trump wants. Negotiations on this deal about suppose to wrap up soon. Agriculture is a major point in the deal since Americans farmers want to sale their food to China. This chart indicates that while they may get their wish, it probably won’t be a big financial boom like they hope it will be.

The other major sticking point for the trade deal is intellectual property rights. America wants the creative projects protected from patent infringement. While Trump may get a deal that seems to protect these, with Neptune in the 5th house inspecting the New Moon, this may not be as great a deal as it seems.
